The great-aunt of little Grégory Villemin , who is to be summoned to court with a view to a possible indictment 40 years after the murder of the little boy, reaffirmed on Thursday June 19, 2025 " her total innocence" , according to a press release from her lawyers.

Jacqueline Jacob, 80, will be questioned in the coming months with a view to a possible indictment for " criminal conspiracy " in this unresolved and emblematic case, announced Philippe Astruc, the public prosecutor at the Dijon Court of Appeal, on Wednesday. She is suspected of having written a threatening "crow" letter in 1983 to the parents of Grégory, who was killed in 1984 when he was four years old.
